The cooling device is installed behind the finishing mill, the newly produced wires from the mill are inducted to the pinch roll in front of the wire discharger by guiding groove or guiding pipe, meanwhile the temperature of the wires are cooled down from 1000~1100ºC to 920~900ºC rapidly along the water-cooling pipe, in so to prevent the mass production of iron oxide. Meanwhile created a better condition for wind cooling of loosing coil and metal phase transformation, only in this way the quality wire can be produced.

1 compressed air counter air nuzzle
Water cooling section: 6 cooling water nuzzles, 1 counter water nuzzle, 1 compressed air counter air nuzzle.
Composition of equipment and structure characteristics
Water cooling device combined with three cooling sections and three slow cooling sections. Water cooling sections have 21 cooling nuzzles, each cooling nuzzle can be controlled individually. High pressure counter water nuzzle and high pressure counter air nuzzle are also fixed. .
The water cooling box is of welded structure with steel plates, the cover of the water tank and the heavy punch fixed to guiding pipe bases should be lifted during the installment, resume the cover and heavy punch after the guiding pipes are installed properly.
In production, the newly produced wire is cooled by cooling water supplied through workshop pipelines. Used cooling water and iron oxide residue will drain away through the slop under the cooling box.
A buckling-style design is applied to all the guiding grooves in the water cooling section and slow cooling section. they are fixed with BMCUW, the structure is simple and durable and easy to maintain.
